Facebook Authorizers
In order for certain metrics to populate on Marketing Milk, including Facebook Direct lead information, and for lead notification emails to be sent to users who should be receiving them, someone must be assigned as both the Facebook Page Authorizer and the Facebook Ads Manager Authorizer on the admin panel for the business. Additionally, this person must also have lead access to the Facebook Page. In the screenshot below you'll see Colin Huguelet is the Authorizer set at the bottom of the page.
In order to be selected as the facebook Authorizer, you need to log into Marketing Milk using the, "Sign in with Facebook" option on the login screen.
In order to login to Marketing Milk through Facebook, you need to change the email associated with your user name to the personal email you use to log into your personal facebook account.
1. Once you've changed your email associated with your Marketing Milk User, you need to log out, and then log in with your Facebook information.
2. Once you've logged in with your Facebook Information, you should be able to set yourself as the Authorizer.
3. Once you set yourself as the Authorizer, lead information should populate moving forward. This can be tested using the Facebook Lead Test Tool.
4. Optionally, you can use the Reload Leads tool in the Useful tools tab of the Admin panel for the business. You may need to complete this step to see previous leads that did not load. As a note, if leads were not populating on your dashboard, there is a good chance that lead notification emails were not being sent. Reloading your leads into this section as described in this step will not send lead notification emails for past leads. Any missed leads will need to be downloaded and sent to the client manually.
